For a Pharmaceutical Company, we are looking for a
FRONT END ENGINEER
The role of the FEED & Funding Engineer is essential in the early phases of engineering projects related to industrial equipments and facilities. This position involves supporting the design process, ensuring technical feasibility, and assisting in securing funding for projects.
The FEED & Funding Engineer is responsible to carry out the design studies during the FEED design stages (i.e. Business Analysis, Feasibility or Concept Select) in strong collaboration with the engineering technical authorities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, basic financial knowledge, and stakeholder management skills to enable project success.
Responsabilità:
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Feasibility Studies:
- gathering and analyzing data required for assessing the technical, financial, and operational aspects of assigned projects.
- Work on ensuring the robustness of the project's funding model and technical design.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project risk mitigation strategies at both strategic and operational levels.
- Establish contingency plans for key risks to ensure that potential disruptions are minimized and that mitigation actions are effectively executed.
Recommendation Development:
- Collaborate with the FEED Manager to formulate high-level recommendations based on feasibility study results.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management decision-making.
Funding Proposal Preparation:
- Preparation of comprehensive funding proposals (PIP) for the assigned projects.
- Tailor content to meet the needs of stakeholders and approval boards.
- articulate key project drivers, financial forecasts, and strategic benefits as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the site.
- Aid in the financial planning and budget development process for the FEED phase.
- Ensure project deliverables according to PMF during the FEED phase for assigned projects.
By assisting the Front-End Engineering Design Manager in these areas, the direct report will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of the FEED phase for various projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering Degree, (pref. Chemistry, Automation, Mechanical) or equivalent experience. PhD or MBA is a plus.
- Experience in engineering projects, as project engineer or project definition
- Knowledge of Project Management Framework
- Quality and results oriented mindset
- Effective communication skills, including facilitation and presentation skills
- Good English knowledge
