Adecco is looking for a Software Engineer for our client company specializing in automation processes, production services, and robotics.
The Software Engineer is responsible for design and testing the software (PLC, HMI, SCADA) before the site activities.
The Software Engineer manages software development, from customer specification to the debugging activities, assuring performance. He/she is responsible for the diffusion of technical details and standards to internal and external members of the team.
The Software Engineer / Designer is directly involved in the project team, reporting to the Software Engineer Manager and to the technical reference for projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
Main areas of responsibilities are:
• Develop control system concepts and architecture according customer's requirement and company standard
• Develop automation controls specifications
• Develop software program for industrial automation line and test
• Provide technical support to external resources.
• Researches, develops, and documents software interfaces.
• Lays out software structure and writes code according project requirements.
• Designs Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications.
• Designs Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) applications.
• Checks software programs with tools to avoid errors.
• Participates in the machine integration and debugging process at the customer's facility if required.
• Involved in the controls proposals phase to verify engineering viability
• Review functional design and safety specifications before the design phase & software programming
• Engineering and design of fit for purpose schemes
