Business Development Lead – Media Buyers – Ancona, Marche, Italy

Overview

Lead go-to-market initiatives for performance media buyers, shaping growth strategies across EMEA and the US. Work closely with leadership, industry partners, and high-value clients to build long-term relationships and unlock new revenue opportunities. Represent the business at major industry events within a fast‑growing, innovative ad‑tech environment.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the go‑to‑market strategy for performance media buyers, identifying and prioritizing high‑value prospects and business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, affiliates, partners, and key industry stakeholders across EMEA and US markets.
  • Represent the organization at major industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
  • Provide strategic product consultation and advisory support to prospective clients, helping them maximize campaign performance and business outcomes.
  • Drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to deal closure, onboarding, and long‑term revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to refine positioning, messaging, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Gather market insights, customer feedback, and industry trends to support product, marketing, and business development initiatives.
  • Utilize CRM and go‑to‑market tools to manage pipelines, optimize workflows, and improve sales productivity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in affiliate marketing, mobile advertising, ad‑tech, or performance marketing.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing commercial deals and managing strategic customer or partner relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the performance advertising ecosystem, including media platforms, attribution tools, tracking technologies, and programmatic advertising.
  • Existing network within the affiliate or mobile advertising industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively in dynamic environments.
  • Comfortable working in remote or hybrid international teams with cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and modern sales technologies to enhance productivity and execution.
  • Results‑driven, proactive, and highly motivated with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Previous experience speaking at conferences or industry events is considered a plus.
