Our client is a leading global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider, delivering innovative customer experience, digital transformation, and back-office solutions to some of the world's most recognised brands.
As part of their continued growth across Italy, they are seeking an experienced
Business Development Director
to drive new business acquisition across Italy. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to build strategic relationships with enterprise clients and play a key role in the company's continued expansion.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales professional with an established network and a successful track record of winning complex BPO outsourcing deals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on acquiring new enterprise clients across Italy.
Identify, engage, and close high-value outsourcing opportunities across Customer Experience, Contact Centre, Back Office, Digital Services, and Business Transformation solutions.
Build and manage a robust pipeline through proactive business development and networking.
Lead complex sales cycles from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close.
Collaborate with solution architects, operations, and delivery teams to create compelling client proposals.
Develop long-term relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and sales targets.
Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management through CRM.
Essential Requirements
Current or previous experience working for a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider is essential.
Demonstrable success selling outsourced Customer Experience, Contact Centre, CX, BPO or Business Services solutions.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding new business sales targets.
Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles with deal values ranging from six to eight figures.
Strong network of senior decision-makers within the Italian market.
Excellent commercial, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Fluent Italian and English (written and spoken).
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working remotely.
