Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Plastic components

Responsibilities

• Responsible for component or system design;
• Responsible for CAD development, using CATPart parameterization for both 3D modeling and 2D drafting;
• Perform design studies and identify the best design solutions respecting technical specifications based on client expectations and regulations;
• Participate in feasibility studies;
• Contribute to the geometrical conformity;
• Responsible for delivering technical reports with the design progress.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience related to product CAD design development for automotive components: interior and exterior trims or lighting components;
• Skilled in CATIA V5/V6 in 3D and 2D Part Design; Generative Shape Design is a must;
• Capacity to coordinate a team of CAD designers;
• Strong technical expertise and leadership skills will be appreciated;
• Good communication, teamwork skills, open to learn and evolve;
• Good English level is mandatory;
• German would be a plus.
