The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or recently graduated to gain hands‑on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. Our internships provide first‑hand insights into the processes, systems, and practices that ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading‑edge technology.

You will participate in focused training, team meetings, work on projects, and present your results. During your internship, a buddy and your manager will support you to ensure a valuable learning experience. You can expect coaching and mentoring to help you complete assignments and projects, developing your learning and skill set.

You will also become familiar with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) culture of Baker Hughes and our strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

• Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
• Learn internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders.
• Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained.

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree in Mechanical or another Engineering related field.
• Maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or an equivalent in your country.
• Fluent in oral and written English with effective communication skills.
• Legally able to work in the country you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restrictions.
