Role Overview As Engineering Senior Specialist – Mechanical Component, you will work on pumps in a collaborative environment based on a multidisciplinary team. You will work with scientists and engineers to enhance the technical features of such a product, develop the redesign of Flange to Flange BH pumps and introduce new hydraulics and pumps. Responsibilities Perform all activities for Flange to Flange Centrifugal Pumps development, executing detailed design, calculations and analysis. Develop ideas that become real products for new centrifugal pumps to enhance the current BH pumps portfolio. Execute fast prototyping, introduce new design tools, debug, verify testing and performance characterization of concepts and products. Support market research to determine product success among adjacent markets. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering or relevant demonstrable experience. Extensive knowledge of centrifugal pumps. Relevant knowledge of International standards and codes. Good computer skills and familiarity with Unigraphics NX, ANSYS, HYSYS. Fluent in Italian and English. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position.
