Our team is responsible for the assembly of high-quality and innovative products.Partner with the bestAs Supplier Quality Engineering - Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible to manage any quality/technical aspect related to supplier’s delivered products. All activities have tight relationship with other functions, i.e. Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistic and Procurement. Main goal is to continuously improve the supplier’s Quality level, reducing both escaping defects and associated cost of quality, while growing and developing the supply base as per business needs.In this role, you will be responsible for:Manage Supplier’s related Non-Conformity Record (NCR)Lead the suppliers in the execution of defects root cause analysis (RCA) and support the definition of robust corrective actions (CA)Implement Quality Development Plans for eligible suppliersQualify the suppliers according to Company rulesCarry out periodic Audits to verify compliance with company requirementsCheck the on-the-job inspections according to the Quality Control PlansSupport the suppliers on Deviation Request (SDR) managementSupport cross-functional and cross- regional initiatives to improve Suppliers QualityManage patterns and support technical clarifications between suppliers and engineering.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role, you will:Have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent work experience in one or more of the following industrial processes castings, forging and machining.Possess technical knowledge of the following areas: welding (SMAW-FCAW) NDTs (VT, PT, MT, RX, UT).Be able to read and understand technical drawings and product specificationsBe fluent in English and ItalianHave PC & office software proficiencyHave an EU Work PermitDesired Characteristics:Have Certifications IWI for weldingHave level II certifications for PT, VT, MT as a minimumPossess an attitude to set aggressive targets and change status quo – Change agent, and be committed to meet deadlines and deliver resultsBe available to travel frequentlyPossess structured data driven mindset, effective problem-solving abilities and zero-defect quality thinkingUnderstand Six Sigma principlesPossess good negotiations and facilitation skillsHave good communication and presentation skillsBe able to learn quickly coping with multiple complex situations on daily basisBe able to work with teams and people from different culturesWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
