Videndum designs, manufactures and distributes premium branded and technically advanced products and solutions for broadcasters, film and video production companies, independent content creators, vloggers/influencers, enterprises, governments and professional musicians.

Job Summary The Electromechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the following key activities, primarily focused within the F4 production facility, which will host the new carbon fibber tube manufacturing lines.

Main Responsibilities and Activities

Fault Diagnosis: Systematic troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues across production equipment.

Preventive Maintenance: Execution of scheduled maintenance tasks as defined in the M3 system to ensure optimal equipment performance and reduce downtime.

Workshop Overhauls: Disassembly, inspection, and refurbishment of mechanical and electrical components within the maintenance workshop.

Machine Edge Installations: Assembly and integration of machine edge components for equipment built in-house.

Safety Upgrades: Implementation of safety measures on existing machinery based on inspections and recommendations provided by the company’s safety consultant.

These responsibilities require a proactive approach and close collaboration with the safety and engineering teams. The technician will serve as the department’s point of reference within the F4 facility.

Qualifications Hard/Technical Skills

Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Systems

Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics

Wiring, electrical panels, sensors, actuators

Routine and Extraordinary Maintenance

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults

Interventions on motors, pumps, reducers, sensors etc…

Use of Measuring Instruments

Multimeter, clamp meter, caliper, micrometer

PLC and Industrial Automation

Basic knowledge of Siemens, Omron, or Schneider PLCs (diagnostics)

Mechanical Work

Use of drills, grinders

Safety Regulations

DPI and Lockout/Tagout procedures

Soft Skills

Problem Solving

Ability to analyze and solve faults independently

Teamwork

Collaboration with other departments (production, quality, engineering)

Stress Management

Ability to operate in emergency situations or under pressure

Flexibility

Availability for on-call shift, or overtime

Organizational SkillsPlanning interventions and managing priorities

Educational Background

Technical diploma (electrotechnical, mechanical, mechatronic)

Previous experience of at least 2-3 years in a similar role

PES/PAV/PEI certification (preferable)
