About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Project Electrical Engineer to join a leading international engineering organisation specialising in electrical infrastructure and industrial systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who will be involved in the delivery of engineering, upgrade, and lifecycle projects for critical electrical assets across a range of industrial sectors.

Working alongside experienced engineering and service teams, you will support projects from the initial design phase through to implementation and final delivery, gaining exposure to customer interaction, technical problem-solving, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

Develop and revise electrical schematics and technical documentation for medium-voltage and industrial electrical systems. Support the definition and implementation of technical solutions for upgrade, retrofit, and modernisation projects. Perform technical analysis of existing installations and identify potential improvements. Select electrical components in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards. Coordinate engineering activities and support project planning and execution. Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved. Support workshop, commissioning, and field service activities where required. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project progress updates. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. 1–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, project engineering, automation, power distribution, or industrial systems. Knowledge of electrical schematics, power systems, and industrial electrical equipment. Understanding of medium-voltage and/or low-voltage electrical systems. Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documentation. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within project teams. Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. Fluent Italian and professional English.
