Operations Director – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Network

Pharma Point is supporting an international pharmaceutical organization in the search for a Operations Director to oversee and further strengthen a complex manufacturing network across Italy and abroad.

This role will play a key part in steering operational effectiveness, harmonizing processes and standards across sites, and supporting the company through a significant phase of industrial evolution.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Provide strategic leadership across the manufacturing network, ensuring alignment with broader business priorities;

• Oversee core industrial functions, with a focus on operational performance, quality standards, service level, and organizational effectiveness;

• Partner with site leadership to promote consistency, accountability, and collaboration across different plants;

• Contribute to transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, systems, and overall industrial capabilities;

• Safeguard full compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety requirements within a highly regulated environment. xdwybme

Profile:

• Academic background in Engineering, Chemistry, CTF, or other relevant scientific disciplines;

• Solid experience in multi sites leadership roles within pharmaceutical manufacturing;

• Strong ability to operate across complex organizations, combining strategic vision with executional rigor;

Location: Italy, with regular interaction across multiple sites in both local and international settings.
