To alter, mend, modify and construct garments and other articles according to customers' specifications and needs.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Coordination:
- Identify the alterations and coordinate with the sales team.
- Place pins, check dimensions and symmetry during fitting.
- Propose the appropriate alterations.
- Fill up alteration's docket.
- Communicate to sales team about delivery date.
- Offer technical advice to sales team when needed.
- Ensure the dismantling and assembly of the garments needed alterations.
- Ensure the ironing of the parts.
- Delivery deadlines must be met unless agreed with store manager.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or bachelors degree.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in the high-end retail fashion industry.
- Experience within a similar high-end, couture or RTW environment.
- Able to work efficiently and precisely whilst meeting deadlines. xdwybme
- Excellent understanding of a variety of garment construction types.
- Knowledge of alteration and fit.
- English proficiency is a must
