In this role you will lead environmental, health, and safety programs across large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. You will partner with project leadership, contractors, and field teams to embed safety into project execution and drive proactive risk reduction. You will develop and oversee audits, training, and incident investigations to sustain regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture. This position offers visibility across multiple projects and a chance to shape safety strategy in a mission-critical environment.

- Lead construction safety program implementation and continuous improvement across active project sites
- Provide leadership to site safety professionals and ensure consistent policy execution
- Collaborate with project leadership, contractors, and field teams to integrate safety into construction activities
- Conduct safety audits, site assessments, and program evaluations to identify risks and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and federal, state, and local regulations
- Lead incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective action planning
- Develop and deliver safety training, orientations, and leadership coaching for field personnel and contractors
- Support Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and mitigation strategies
- Establish and monitor safety performance metrics and report insights to leadership
- Serve as primary safety liaison with internal stakeholders, contractors, and project leadership
- Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and proactive hazard identification across construction operations
Responsabilità
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent professional experience
- 8–10 years of construction safety experience, including 3+ years in leadership
- Demonstrated experience managing safety programs in complex construction environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence safety culture and drive cross-functional compliance
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required
- STS-C or CHST certification required or to be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Preferred CSP or related credentials
