Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead NPDI sourcing to accelerate new product introductions from ideation to mass production. You will work with Engineering and Procurement to secure suppliers, manage BOM costs, and ensure supply readiness at key milestones. You will drive risk mitigation, prototype strategy, and cross-functional reviews to meet schedule and cost targets. This is a chance to shape product launches in a global, matrixed environment with a focus on speed, quality, and continuous improvement.

Manage Procurement deliverables for new products from ideation through pilot and mass production
Ensure sourcing from preferred suppliers and cost targets with a robust supply chain readiness plan
Develop prototype strategy with engineering and buyers for quick prototype turnaround
Analyze tooling needs and costs for new products
Review supplier proposals and provide recommendations
Coordinate with Regional and Global procurement to mitigate supply risks
Own purchase BOM cost reporting and drive cost reduction initiatives
Lead Sourcing Reviews with cross-functional teams and ensure action closure
Monitor and report Procurement KPIs and drive improvements when needed
Complete all Procurement gate deliverables during NPD and provide Procurement votes
Lead/participate in NPD/NPI review meetings and coordinate with EMS suppliers
Coordinate launch plans with EMS suppliers to meet project schedules

Responsabilità
Significant background in Supply Chain and Engineering, with experience in NPI, Project Management, and Industrialization
Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and BOMs
Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a cross-functional, matrix environment
Strong understanding of Procurement processes and Vertiv market/industry standards
Ability to build forward-thinking supplier partnerships and lead complex international teams
Experience in matrixed organizations and willingness to work across time zones
Change management mindset and continuous improvement orientation
Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and PLM tools
Travel readiness (15%)
Preferred: PMP and/or CPSM certifications
