Specialista Senior / Project Manager As Product Development Lead for Purple Label, you translate design visions into production-ready sweaters and knits, acting as the technical expert across Design, Product Management, Sourcing, and Quality Assurance. You collaborate with global factories to ensure construction, fit, and craftsmanship meet brand standards while managing cost, quality, and calendars. Your deep yarn and knitting expertise guides technical development from concept through bulk production. You help sustain brand integrity through scalable manufacturing and continuous improvement. Competitive base salary (starting base 89,000) Partner with Design, Product Development, and global manufacturing teams to convert concepts into production-ready garments Serve as the main technical liaison to factories to preserve design intent during development and production Collaborate with vendors to balance aesthetics, manufacturability, scalability, and cost Review construction methods, stitch structures, knit techniques, trims, and finishing to align with brand standards Understand knitting machine capabilities, gauge specs, and production constraints with factories Provide technical guidance to improve execution, quality, and consistency across suppliers Troubleshoot technical issues across development and production cycles Drive garment execution timelines to meet calendar milestones Lead yarn specifications, including count, gauge, composition, spinning, ply, and performance Evaluate yarn impact on fit, hand feel, and durability Set machine settings, yarn handling procedures, and knitting parameters with suppliers Develop, review, and approve tension swatches and knitted prototypes Analyze and validate construction standards for quality and efficiency Provide expertise on sweater engineering, knit structures, and technical innovation Document and communicate technical specifications across development stages Oversee technical development from concept to production approval Review and approve technical packages, construction details, and measurements Manage prototype, fit, and pre-production evaluations and corrective actions Establish technical standards and cross-functional processes Balance design intent, quality, cost targets, and timelines across teams Monitor development milestones and identify risks to delivery and performance Partner with QA to establish inspection standards and criteria Conduct pre-production meetings to review packaging, requirements, and readiness Ensure factories understand quality, fit, and construction specs Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for quality or production issues Monitor bulk readiness and drive continuous improvement in quality and manufacturing Build strong partnerships with global suppliers and manufacturing leadership Influence external partners to meet quality and craftsmanship standards Foster accountability and technical excellence across vendor relationships Facilitate technical discussions and reviews with stakeholders Support supplier capability assessments to elevate performance Coach design team members and drive cross-functional alignment Improve technical development processes, tools, and workflows Champion innovation in sweater construction and yarn technology Serve as trusted advisor across the product lifecycle Past experience in sweater technical design, product development, apparel engineering, or knitwear manufacturing Deep expertise in sweater construction, yarn technology, knitting processes, machine capabilities, and garment engineering Strong understanding of global manufacturing processes, fit development, quality standards, and product commercialization Experience partnering with domestic and international factories and suppliers Proven ability to manage multiple product categories and complex calendars Strong leadership, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to influence cross-functional partners and external vendors in fast-paced environments As Product Development Lead for Purple Label, you translate design visions into production-ready sweaters and knits, acting as the technical… #J-18808-Ljbffr
