Your role
As a
Technical Sales Specialist – Instrumentation & Process Automation Portfolio , you will be part of the Instrumentation & Process Automation team, contributing to business growth and market development by acting as a technical and commercial reference for the assigned market segment.
Your day-to-day activities include supporting sales activities through the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, contributing to product development, market strategy and product portfolio management, and close collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to support customer satisfaction, portfolio competitiveness, and sustainable business growth.
You’ll make an impact by
Analyzing RFQs, technical specifications, and customer requirements to identify the most effective instrumentation and automation solutions.
Preparing technical and commercial proposals for process instrumentation, including flow, level, pressure, temperature, and valve automation solutions.
Selecting, sizing, and configuring products according to application requirements, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Providing technical consulting and application support to customers and the sales organization throughout the sales cycle.
Collaborating with customers, headquarters, and cross‑functional teams to define solutions, resolve technical challenges, and support business opportunities.
Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support portfolio growth and identify new business opportunities.
Delivering technical presentations, product training, and marketing support while contributing to the continuous development of the instrumentation and process automation portfolio.
Core Requirements
Knowledge of process instrumentation (flow, level, pressure, and temperature measurements, as well as positioners for electro‑pneumatic valves).
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Automation, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical) or a technical diploma.
3–5 years’ experience in technical/sales roles, instrument configuration and selection based on application requirements.
Familiarity with main industrial process vertical markets (Oil & Gas, energy, chemicals, water and wastewater, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, etc.).
Passion to never‑stop growing.
Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co‑create and share knowledge.
Proficiency in English and Italian.
Eligibility to work in Italy.
Preferred Requirements
Good process engineering (fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, pressure).
Ability to read P&IDs, datasheets, and technical specifications.
High capability in defining sales strategies, market and competitor analysis and identifying new business opportunities.
Available for frequent short business trips on a national and sometimes international level.

The Total Target Cash (Base + Variable) Pay Range for this position is €60,000–€75,000 annually. The actual offer will be determined within this range, based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
