Your ResponsibilitiesPerform penetration testing on chargers, embedded controllers, and backend infrastructures using various techniques (e.g. brute force, code injection, malformed data)Attack implemented security mitigations in order to bypass them, either via software or hardware techniques such as fault injection, glitches and side‑channel attacksIdentify weaknesses and vulnerabilities in charging protocols in connection with EVs and CPOsCreate reports of any findings and support the team in assessing the identified vulnerabilities, possibly providing remediation requirementsSupport the establishment and maintenance of a distributed penetration testing lab, including the selection of tools, programming languages and scriptsYour Qualifications & SkillsMaster's degree in Electronic/Information Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics, or equivalent professional experience in cybersecurityFamiliarity with cryptographic algorithmsKnowledge of basic security mechanisms such as secure boot, authenticated software updates and access controlExperience of working in Linux environmentsKnowledge of scanning techniques and fault injection software/hardware mechanisms as well as hardware security devices and mechanisms, and their programming (e.g. hardware security modules, ARM Trust Zone and Trusted Platform Module)Familiarity with reverse engineering techniquesFamiliarity with µprocessors and µcontrollers, debugging and control Self‑reliant and meticulous work style with an analytical mindsetProblem‑solving and self‑motivating attitude as well as proactivity and autonomyOUR COMMITMENTInnovative work environment in a young, dynamic teamHigh‑tech projects in the future‑proof sector of e‑mobilityOpportunities for advancement in a growing companyA wide range of further training opportunitiesAttractive bonus system and performance‑related payAdditional company benefitsWHY ALPITRONIC Together with our customers, we are driving the world towards sustainable mobility – with cutting‑edge technology, we inspire with the most innovative and reliable solutions.
