Our group is an established player in engineering services and technical consultancy for manufacturing companies, leveraging a strong internal team with solid know-how in product development, simulation, prototyping, validation, reliability analysis, and technical documentation development.
The goal of this application is to foster the growth of our System Integration & Process Engineering Team. We are looking for a skilled Process or Mechanical Engineer with 4–5 years of experience, focused on process design, piping layout, and industrial machinery dimensioning.
This is a hybrid, full-time role concerning the complete development process of industrial fluids, piping, and machinery lines—from concept to commissioning—delivering innovative and high-performing solutions.
Your challenge? Here's some details:
ACTIVITIES:
- Analyze & Define Requirements: Understand and analyze complex technical specifications and process requirements from clients
- P&ID Development: Define, design, and optimize Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and schema
- Feasibility & Testing: Conduct feasibility studies, define validation test plans, and monitor execution.
- Machine Dimensioning: Calculate, size, and select industrial machines, pumps, valves and associated process equipment
- Mechanical Machine and Schematics Design: Apply mechanical engineering principles to support the integration and design of industrial machiner, detailed piping layouts, routing, and fluid distribution schematics
- Commissioning Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support during the installation, mechanical completion, and commissioning phases.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely within a dynamic team alongside mechanical, electrical, automation and safety engineers
- Mentorship & Growth: Act as a technical reference point to foster the knowledge base of junior engineers, with the long-term goal of growing into a team leadership role
PROFILE: The ideal candidate is a proactive engineer with 4 to 5 years of solid experience in industrial process engineering, fluid dynamics, or mechanical system integration. You possess a strong balance between theoretical calculation (dimensioning) and practical design (P&IDs and piping), with a deep understanding of how mechanical machinery operates within a larger industrial plant.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronic or Industrial Engineering
- Process Design Proficiency: Good experience creating P&IDs, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and instrument specification sheets
- Dimensioning Expertise: Proven capability in sizing process equipment (pumps, vessels, piping networks, control valves, conveyors, handlers) and fluid dynamics calculations
- CAD/Piping Software: Proficiency with industrial 2D/3D CAD software and piping design tools
- Mechanical Knowledge: Solid understanding of mechanical machine design principles and component selection
- Soft Skills: Proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong desire to collaborate with a dynamic team in a demanding market
- Mobility: Available for occasional travel to visit customers and support on-site commissioning
- Languages: Good English, both spoken and written
The Gross Annual Salary (RAL) for this position typically ranges between € 30.000 and € 45.000. The final offer will be strictly commensurate with the candidate's actual experience, technical capabilities, and the specific level of autonomy demonstrated during the selection process.
