Delivery Lead Manager – Health & Public Services
Lead with excellence and a collaborative spirit as a Delivery Lead Manager at Avanade, where every project is a step toward success and client satisfaction.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Delivery Lead Manager with a strong technical background to oversee complex delivery projects within Health & Public Services, with specific experience in Local Public Administration.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong, long‑lasting relationships.
Understand client needs and ensure they are effectively communicated to the delivery team.
Regularly update clients on project progress, manage expectations, and address any issues promptly.
Collaborate with Sales Accounts to develop business with the client.
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and manage the delivery schedule.
Monitor project performance using appropriate tools, reporting progress, and adjusting as necessary.
Oversee a team of project managers, coordinators, and other delivery staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Foster a collaborative and high‑performance culture within the team.
Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and implement best practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
Stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging technologies that impact the sector.
Anticipate client needs and identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
5–7 years of experience in project management, delivery management, with a strong technical background and proven experience managing complex delivery projects for Local Public Administration.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
