We are currently looking for a Business Development Lead - Media Buyers in Italy. In this role you will lead go‑to‑market initiatives focused on performance media buyers, help shape growth strategies across EMEA and US markets, build long‑term commercial relationships with advertisers, agencies, affiliates, partners and key industry stakeholders, and unlock new revenue opportunities. This position offers significant visibility, strategic ownership, and the opportunity to represent the business at leading international industry events.
Accountabilities
- Lead the go‑to‑market strategy for performance media buyers, identifying and prioritizing high‑value prospects and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, affiliates, partners and key industry stakeholders across EMEA and US markets.
- Represent the organization at major industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
- Provide strategic product consultation and advisory support to prospective clients, helping them maximise campaign performance and business outcomes.
- Drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to deal closure, onboarding and long‑term revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to refine positioning, messaging and customer engagement strategies.
- Gather market insights, customer feedback and industry trends to support product, marketing, and business development initiatives.
- Effectively utilise CRM and go‑to‑market tools to manage pipelines, optimise workflows and improve sales productivity.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience within affiliate marketing, mobile advertising, ad‑tech or performance marketing environments.
- Proven track record of successfully closing commercial deals and managing strategic customer or partner relationships.
- Strong understanding of the performance advertising ecosystem, including media platforms, attribution tools, tracking technologies and programmatic advertising.
- Existing network within the affiliate or mobile advertising industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively in dynamic environments.
- Comfortable working in remote or hybrid international teams with cross‑functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and modern sales technologies to enhance productivity and execution.
- Results‑driven, proactive and highly motivated with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Previous experience speaking at conferences or industry events is considered a plus.
