Civil & Structural Concrete Engineer

is generally assigned to a project and he/she is in charge of producing documents anddeliverables assigned by the Civil Project Leader related to Concrete discipline. He/She reports to the Civil Project Leader or to the Concrete Specialist for the peculiarities of the project and to the Group Leader / Head of Department for man-hours assignment and quality of the deliverables.

To guaranteethe quality of the generateddeliverables and theircompliance with thecontractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions; To cooperate with the Project Leader and Concrete Specialists to the coordination of the activities related to the Concrete discipline, regardless the location and distribution of the engineering centers; To manage and issuedesign calculations reportsand specifications, tocheck drawings anddocuments relevant to reinforced concrete and/or precast concrete, on the basis given by the Group Leader, in agreement with the Civil Project Leader. To integrate the Concrete work design on the basis of the project data received from other engineering disciplines as instructed by the Project Leader; To check and approve Vendor’s document (i.e. subcontractor construction design documents ); To guarantee assistance to the construction departments and site upon request, in reference to his area of competence, as per project needs and in coordination with the Project Leader. To conducttechnical training as per departmentneeds and exchangeexperience with colleaguesof the entire Tecnimont Group for new Design techniques; Minimum Bachelor, plus Master’s degree in Civil engineering is preferred From 2 to 6 years of experience in concrete design, preferable in plant engineering companies in petrochemical, oil & gas, power or in a technical design office Good knowledge of European and international codes and standards Experience in working in engineering teams Good knowledge in Autodesk REVIT modelling Fluent English speaker and writer is a must Availability to travel for short and long period (max 3 months)

Knowledge of FEM Civil & Structural Design Software, such as SAP2000, STAAD Contract Type and Classification: Contract type: Applicable collective agreement (NCLC): Chemical and Chemical-Pharmaceutical (identification code B011) The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be 42,000.00€ The compensation package will include the applicable elements of the Collective Agreement as well as benefits provided under company agreements, including flexible benefits and a participation bonus. At the end of the selection process, the Company reserves the right to make an offer with a job level and/or gross annual salary different from what is indicated in this job posting, consistently with the candidate’s professional experience and technical and soft skills.
