A. is a leading EPC contractor operating in the Oil & Gas sector (pipelines & plants), headquartered in Parma, Italy, and active on complex projects both in Italy and internationally.Posizione: We are currently looking for aPre-Commissioning Managerto join our project inThe Netherlands , involving the mechanical construction of abio‑refinery plantfor a leading international client. The role is site‑based and will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination and execution of pre‑commissioning activities, ensuring alignment with project requirements, technical standards and client expectations.Key responsibilities:Define and implement the Pre‑Commissioning strategy and execution plan, including procedures and method statements for Client approvalLead and coordinate all pre‑commissioning activities by system and subsystem, ensuring readiness for Mechanical Completion and handoverManage resources, tools and subcontractors, overseeing execution and ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelinesSupervise testing activities on piping systems, equipment and related interfaces (flushing, hydrotesting, leak testing, etc.)Monitor progress, punch lists and close‑out activities, ensuring timely completion and proper turnover to commissioningInterface with Client and stakeholders, including site walkthroughs and validation of procedures (SIMOPS, permits, partial handover)Ensure proper documentation and preparation of Mechanical Completion dossiers, maintaining full traceability of tests, inspections and activitiesRequisiti:Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical background)10+ years of experience in Pre‑Commissioning / Commissioning roles, including team coordination responsibilitiesProven experience in EPC industrial projects such as refineries, petrochemical, power, gas or biofuel plantsStrong knowledge of piping systems and pre‑commissioning activitiesFamiliarity with completion, handover and turnover processesGood knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g. ASME B31.3, PED, DVGW)Strong organisational, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skillsFluency in English (minimum B2 level)Knowledge of Italian is considered a plusLocation: Rotterdam, The Netherlands – Biorefinery (NESTE)MAX STREICHER S.p.
