We are looking for a Production Shift Manager

The Shift Manager is responsible for the overall management of the production shift within the assigned production unit, ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people-related objectives, in compliance with company standards and the Stellantis Industrial System (SIS). The role acts as an operational leader, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and people development.

Main Responsibilities Shift and Operations Management • Ensure the proper execution of production activities during the assigned shift • Coordinate Supervisors, Team Leaders, and operational resources • Guarantee the achievement of production targets for UTEs/Operating Units • Monitor shift performance (line stoppages, scrap, rework, NVAA, efficiency) • Manage operational issues by making timely and structured decisions • Verify the application of operating standards and basic conditions

People Management and Leadership • Manage, support, and develop Supervisors and Team Leaders within the shift • Monitor attendance, absenteeism, and effective workforce utilization • Foster continuous feedback and employee engagement • Promote leadership behaviors aligned with Stellantis values • Support performance evaluation, development, and recognition processes

Health, Safety, and Environment • Ensure the implementation of the Health and Safety Management System • Coordinate the analysis of events, unsafe acts/conditions, near misses, and human errors • Support safety, environmental, and process audits • Promote environmental improvement initiatives in compliance with company standards

Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) and Continuous Improvement • Promote and support the implementation of the Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) • Analyze performance losses related to cost, quality, safety, and delivery • Define improvement targets for UTEs and workshops, monitoring their progress • Drive continuous improvement through structured projects • Disseminate best practices and process standardization • Support initiatives related to ergonomics, line balancing, and reduction of non-value-added activities

Communication and Cross-Functional Collaboration • Ensure clear and effective communication within the shop floor • Foster alignment with support functions (Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, HR, Safety) • Share results, priorities, and action plans • Contribute to building a climate of trust, collaboration, and shared accountability

Required Skills Technical Skills • Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic) • Knowledge of automotive production processes • Ability to analyze data and performance indicators • Structured problem-solving skills • Continuous improvement mindset

Organizational Relationships • Reports to: Unit / Area Manager • Manages: Supervisors, Team Leaders • Collaborates with: Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, HR, Safety, Engineering • Shift-based work (05.45 - 13.45, 14.15 - 22.15, 22.15 - 05.45)
