Toyota Material Handling Europe is expanding its R&D team and is looking for a Normative Requirements & Regulatory Compliance Engineer. In this role, you will ensure the normative, regulatory, and documentation compliance of products and machines throughout their entire development lifecycle. You will act as a key interface between internal stakeholders and external certification bodies and authorities, supporting the successful design, industrialization, and market launch of compliant products.

The challenge

The R&D Technical Administration Office will lead different and ambitious projects in Regulations, Patents and Environmental design. We are looking for a Normative Requirements & Regulatory Compliance Engineer who will ensure that products comply with applicable regulations and standards throughout their entire lifecycle.

Your responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements related to applicable regulations and standards.
  • Identify constraints and assess the impact of normative requirements on products and development projects.
  • Ensure the application of current regulations during design, industrialization, and market launch phases.
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage regulatory files and technical documentation (e.g. machinery technical files).
  • Coordinate all activities required to achieve and maintain regulatory and normative compliance.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, and Commercial teams.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Ability to apply legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Capability to read and interpret technical documentation.
  • Data analysis, structuring, and reporting skills.
  • Creation and management of technical documentation.
  • Collection and validation of product technical data.
  • Professional communication and effective information sharing.
  • Experience in regulatory and documentary monitoring activities.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
