About Silenti
Silenti is a contemporary fashion brand built on the intersection of precision, silence, and form. We design garments that speak without noise — where every silhouette, material choice, and construction detail carries deliberate intention. We are a small, high-conviction team building something with longevity at its core.
The Role
We are looking for a Creative Director to lead the aesthetic and conceptual vision of Silenti across collections, brand identity, and all creative output. This is a hands-on leadership role — you will set the seasonal direction, oversee the design-to-sample pipeline, and ensure coherence across every touchpoint, from the first sketch to the final lookbook.
You will work closely with the founders and cross-functional teams including technical product development, procurement, and production.
What You'll Own
Collection Direction
Define seasonal briefs: concept, mood, silhouette language, color palette, fabric story
Lead the creative team through all 20 steps of the product development process — from concept to campionario approval
Chair both Gate 1 (collection review) and Gate 2 (sample approval) with the founders
Design Execution
Oversee and contribute to 2D design, CLO 3D prototyping, and tech pack review
Ensure design intent survives through to final garment — maintaining creative quality through modelling, construction, and production phases
Collaborate with modellisti and technical product developers on fit, finish, and execution
Brand Identity
Own the visual identity of Silenti across campaigns, editorial content, packaging, and digital
Art direct lookbooks, campaign shoots, and all brand imagery
Build and maintain a consistent design language that evolves without diluting
Team & Process
Build and mentor a small design team (currently a lean structure)
Contribute to ongoing improvements to Silenti Studio, our internal product development platform
Work directly with procurement on fabric sourcing, supplier relationships, and material innovation
What We're Looking For
Experience
7+ years in fashion design or creative roles, with at least 2 years at creative director level or equivalent
Deep knowledge of garment construction, pattern-making principles, and the sample development process
Experience working with Italian or European manufacturing and suppliers is a strong plus
Fluency in CLO 3D or similar 3D design tools is preferred
Who You Are
You have a strong, defined point of view — you're not a follower of trends, you're a translator of culture into form
You're as comfortable on the floor of an atelier as you are in a creative review
You move with rigor and restraint — you know that what you remove is as important as what you add
You can hold a long-term vision while managing short-term collection cycles
You communicate clearly with both creative and operational stakeholders
What We Offer
A founding-level creative role with direct influence on the brand's trajectory
Full creative ownership — this is not an execution role
A lean, fast-moving team that trusts its people
Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience
