We’re hiring: M&A Off-Cycle Analyst @ Perpethua – Help reshape the future of Italian Small Medium Enterprises through Tech M&A

Perpethua is a fintech startup on a mission to rethink how small and medium businesses have access and execute M&A transactions. We’ve recently closed a €500K round backed by leading institutional investors and high-standing angels. Now it’s time to scale - and we’re building a team of top performers to make it happen.
We’re looking for a sharp, driven M&A Off-Cycle Analyst who’s ready to challenge the status quo, for a 3-month internship from May to the end of July.
Please note: this is a curricular internship
, therefore candidates must be eligible to undertake a curricular internship under their university program.
What you'll do:
Work on both sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, directly alongside the founding team
Be involved in all deal phases: origination, execution, closing
Build models, assess businesses, speak with entrepreneurs, advisors, funds, and banks
Support the ongoing development of our proprietary platform, collaborating with developers through structured feedback and product intuition
Contribute to the creation of M&A-related content for our blog and social media channels, as well as to the development of our company newsletter
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree completed and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
Strong interest in M&A and Corporate Finance
Basic analytical and modeling skills
Entrepreneurial mindset and a hunger to grow in a high-intensity environment
A tech-driven approach: you believe that technology can (and should) improve every process
Independence, critical thinking, and natural curiosity
