We are currently hiring a
Cluster Reservation Agent
to join our dynamic team .
Position Requirements:
- A high school education or equivalent is required (Hotel School Diploma Preferable)
- The ability to access, retrieve and leverage info from the hotel property management system is expected
- The ability to make accurate, efficient entries into the reservations system is essential
- The ability to operate telephone, computer and various software is expected
- Previous Reservations experience
- Fluency in English and Italian
- French language skills are a plus
- Strong sales ability and communication skills
- Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Excellent time management skills
As a Reservations Agent your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone and email
- Explain rate plans, booking and cancellation policies to customers
- Accommodate and document special requests
- Answering questions about property facilities/services and accommodation
- Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue
- Input and access data in the hotel’s property management system
- Indicate special room reservation types (e.g., complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, and wholesale reservations) by inputting the correct code and rate into the system
- Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns
- Run daily AM and PM reports
- Compile and track monthly commission and handle the extranets
- File daily reservations and other correspondence
What we offer:
Initial 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanent employment
RAL (gross annual salary) 22.000 – 25.200 Euros based on previous experience
