We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Architect (FinOps) to support a cloud cost optimisation project focused on Azure, AWS, and IBM Apptio.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimise cloud costs across Azure and AWS
• Create FinOps reports and dashboards using IBM Apptio
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements
• Define cloud governance, tagging strategies, and cost allocation models
• Gather business and technical requirements from stakeholders
• Develop Python scripts for automation and reporting

Required Skills

✅ FinOps experience (Inform, Optimise, Operate)

✅ Azure:

• Azure Cost Management
• Landing Zones
• Policies & Governance
• Resource Graph & KQL
• Functions & Event Hubs

✅ AWS:

• Cost Explorer
• AWS Budgets
• AWS Organizations
• AWS Config
• Lambda & SNS
• Core services (EC2, EKS, S3, EFS, Databases)

✅ Python scripting and automation

✅ Cloud cost analysis and optimisation

✅ Fluent Italian and professional English

Nice to Have

• IBM Apptio Cloudability experience
• FinOps Certifications (FOCP, FCE, FCP)

Experience

• Ideally 3+ years in FinOps
• Candidates with 2+ years of FinOps experience and strong Apptio knowledge will also be considered
