Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting Culinary Intern.

Reporting to the Head Chef, the Culinary Intern supports the Kitchen Team in the preparation, production, and presentation of food across the hotel’s culinary outlets. Working alongside experienced Chefs, the intern will gain hands‑on experience in luxury hospitality while learning culinary techniques, food safety standards, and the operational excellence expected within Marriott International and The Luxury Collection. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop professional culinary skills in a dynamic and high‑end environment, contributing to memorable dining experiences for guests.

  • This is a full‑time position, 5 days a week with 2 days off.
  • The starting date is estimated in July/August/September.

What you’ll do

  • Support the kitchen brigade in daily food preparation and production activities.
  • Assist chefs with ingredient preparation, mise en place, and basic cooking tasks.
  • Ensure all food items are prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and storage areas.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating products according to hotel procedures.
  • Support staff canteen, restaurant, in‑room dining, and special event operations as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

What you’ll need

  • Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Italian.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Food Production, or a related field.
  • Passion for cooking and the hospitality industry.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop culinary skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
