We're looking for an experienced Java SW Developer (Offboard/Cloud) to join an exciting automotive project focused on vehicle diagnostics, telemetry, and Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates.

VISA: Work authorisation to work in Italy

What you'll be working on You will help develop the backend infrastructure that connects cloud platforms with vehicles, working on:

Scalable backend services using Java, Spring & Spring Boot

RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

Vehicle diagnostics and telemetry data processing

Cloud-to-vehicle OTA update pipelines

Secure and reliable software/firmware deployment

Cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure or GCP

Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines

Testing backend interactions with simulated vehicle endpoints using Vector CANoe

What we're looking for Must have:

5+ years of backend software engineering experience

REST API development and microservices

Maven or Gradle

JUnit and integration testing

Strong understanding of OOD and design patterns

Cloud experience: AWS, Azure or GCP

Docker and Kubernetes

CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI

Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle

Nice to have:

Automotive industry experience

Automotive telemetry

OTA software update architecture

Secure update mechanisms and package versioning

Vehicle software configuration management

Vector CANoe or similar simulation tools

Understanding of vehicle network/CAN communication

Languages: English: Professional fluency required for collaboration with local stakeholders and international teams. xysqume

Italian: Professional fluency is a strong advantage
