Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.For our Savigliano site in Italy we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiasticPrQSM (Project Quality and Safety Manager)Purpose of the jobSupport the Project Team, to ensure the project Safety, Quality assurance by coordinating all quality and safety activities throughout the project and be the preferable interface in the Project Team for all the métiers Quality needed for the Project (Engineering Quality, Industrial Quality, Supplier Quality)Ensure that all the REX (Return Of Experience) of all the métiers have been considered in the Risks & Opportunities and closely monitor to prevent occurrence Ensure and improve the tender quality during tender phase upon requestCustomer QualityBe the interface with the Customer quality and safety teamsProject QualityEstablish the Project Quality plan and ensure the proper application during contract execution in accordance to the contract requirements, and to the Alstom processesSupport the project teams and Project Manager to prepare gate reviews & follow up related action plansProject execution controlsSupport the project teams mainly the Project Manager to prepare gate reviews & follow up related action plansReport quality and safety alertsEnsure quality of the modifications made during the projectEnsure that safety assessment is correctly implemented (i.e.: safety review) and prepare safety authorization.Control project deliverables compliance through inspection and audits - to authorize presentation / delivery to customerEnsure REX process within the projecMeasure and improve project quality performanceManage Non-conformities and Safety issues and facilitate problem solving during project execution phase to reduce the costs of non-quality (8D, REX and standards evolution)Improve the efficiency of quality teams to reduce the function costsMake sure that Engineering team is included in Customer issues solving process(if needed).Depending on local organization, PrQSM could also oversee Industrial quality, Quality Management System and Supplier Quality Assurance activities. In some sites/countries/regions, the PrWM position is merged with the PrQSM position.Performance measurements:“On Time” Gate Reviews and shared with PMO “DFQ Look Ahead”Number of remaining Safety or Customer Issues to fix after target time agreedCost of Non-Quality and speed to solve non-conformities
Educational RequirementsMaster degree in Engineering with Management background depending on the size of the project Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving toolsKnowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications…) would be an asset Experience Awareness on Processes and Products delivered in the project, Fluent in EnglishExperience in Quality / audit are appreciatedCompetencies & Skills - (Technical & Behavioral)Rigor, Communication, knowledge of Quality standard (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM,.) and quality toolsExperience in operational activities and in documentation managementCollaboration and team workingSalary Range 34.400 -
