Electrical Design Specialist

Experteer Overview

In this role you will design electrical systems for aircraft, translating ICD requirements into electrical diagrams and wiring for integrated architectures. You’ll define components, draft electrical standards, and support both prototype and in-service aircraft modifications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, compliant electrical configurations and documentation. The position sits within a global aerospace group focused on innovation, digitalisation and sustainable solutions, offering exposure to multi-domain programs and international projects.

• Define electrical/electronic components to use in projects and provide guidance for drafting Electrical Standards and programme specifications
• Prepare functional and interconnection diagrams and equipment lists;
  size and select components and cables for series aircraft and FTI system for prototypes
• Create technical documentation for aircraft electrical configuration and modify existing systems (RFA, RMA, ACD, SB, retrofit diagrams);
  issue IPAM/EAMR and DOIs for prototype electrical modifications
• Support other design and production departments to finalize electrical design
• Ensure documentation for electrical systems and modifications is prepared for both development and service contexts

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of electrical engineering
• Familiarity with electrical design tools (Capital) - optional
• Teamcenter/SIDDARTA/DOORS - optional
• Office package
• Good spoken and written English (B2)
• Willingness to travel outside Italy
• Seniority: Junior (0-3 years)
