Electrical Reliability Engineer (Open)

The Electrical Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and longevity of electrical infrastructure across Nadara’s Italian fleet, including balance of plant, wind farms, and PV installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Lead or support design and specification of new or upgraded electrical systems. Ensure alignment with reliability, safety, and Italian & EU codes. Evaluate new technologies, standardise designs, and support technical documentation.
  • Project Management and Implementation: Manage electrical projects, coordinate with internal, contractors and stakeholders, perform site inspections, supervise installation, and maintain preventive & reactive maintenance schedules.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct tests, commission systems, develop maintenance protocols, analyse results, lead troubleshooting, and document findings.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with Italian, EU regulations and internal policies. Maintain documentation, support audits, develop SOPs, and manage relationships with DSOs, TSO & regulator.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyse failure data, drive improvements, lead cross‑functional initiatives, promote culture of continuous improvement, and support integration of new technologies.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP).
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, components & design principles.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, codes & regulations in Italy & EU.
  • Ability to interpret and create technical drawings & specifications.

Relevant Experience

Minimum 3‑5 years of electrical engineering or related field. Proven experience designing, implementing and maintaining electrical systems, and managing projects from concept to completion.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license highly desirable.
  • Relevant certifications in electrical engineering are an advantage.

Travel Requirements

Regular travel to sites for inspections, maintenance & troubleshooting, including domestic and potentially international travel.

Location & Time Type

Milano - Martesana. Full‑time, regular worker.
