A protagonist in the main strategic programs globally, it is a technological and industrial partner of Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions and companies.Within the **Special Projects & Virtual Engineering** Area, we are looking for an Autonomy Expert for our Turin site.**Main activities:**The resource must be able to carry out the activities within the competence of the Special Projects & Virtual Engineering unit within the Autonomy office and in particular collaborate in the definition, implementation, and governance of the Autonomy roadmap as well as in the coordination of associated special projects.**Education:**Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Aerospace, Electronics, Automation or similar.**Required experience level:**Senior – consolidated experience (>
5 years) in the development of autonomous systems**Technical skills:*** Knowledge of mission autonomy, route planning, obstacle avoidance and cooperative autonomy; * Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: knowledge of algorithms for autonomous navigation and real-time decision-making. Knowledge of image processing and computer vision are considered a plus; * Solid knowledge of control and automation algorithms, sensor fusion, navigation and real-time software; * In-depth knowledge of sensors and their on-board integration; * Understanding of flight mechanics; * Practical experiencein modeling, simulation and validation of complex systems; * Notions of aeronautical cybersecurity; * Knowledge of national and international regulations applicable to UAS/UAV; * Knowledge of risk analysis in relation to airworthiness in autonomous driving mode.**Behavioral skills:**Proactive person, with a strong propensity for innovation, with good organizational skills and the ability to work independently on aspects of competence, with an aptitude for working in multidisciplinary, even multi-national, teams, and the ability to interact with other company figures.**Language skills:**Excellent knowledge of English**IT knowledge:**Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite; Excellent knowledge of Python; Knowledge of C/C++ programming languages; Knowledge of Mathworks.**Other:**Availability for both short and medium-term transfers both nationally and abroad.**Seniority:****Primary Location:**IT - Torino - C.So Francia**Additional Locations:****Contract Type:**Permanent**Hybrid Working:**
