A challenge aimed at strengthening the technological and industrial sovereignty of the countries involved, because it aims to identify and make available those innovative technologies, called enabling technologies, which will ensure the generational leap, generating positive returns and economic and social progress for the entire country system, benefiting new generations.The resources who will work within this program will have the opportunity to access a professional growth path in an international and technologically advanced context.Within the **Avionic Systems** Area, we are looking for an E3 System Engineer for our Turin Corso Francia site.The resource will be inserted within the **Configuration Mgmt, Reach Mgmt & Cross Disciplines** unit and in particular in the **Electromagnetic Environmental Effects** discipline, whose mission is to manage and implement development and certification activities for the electromagnetic compatibility aspects of aircraft. The activity to be carried out is within the **GCAP program** and other international collaborations or proprietary programs and requires interfacing with partner companies, with certification authorities and with the client consortium to establish the aircraft design and validation strategy, to work with multidisciplinary teams for the design, installation and verification of on-board systems, to follow the electromagnetic interference EMI qualification of supply equipment and to define the tests and analyses to be performed to provide evidence in support of aircraft certification.The resource will primarily deal with:* Defining the qualification and certification requirements for ElectroMagnetic Interference (EMI) at the equipment/system level.* Evaluating project documentation and issuing related EMI qualification documentation for equipment/system: specification, test plan and results, analysis, similarity.* Participating in reviews with equipment/system suppliers.* Defining requirements for numerical calculation simulations and aircraft tests and analyzing the results for aspects of: ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC);
protection from radiated electromagnetic fields (High Intensity Radiated Fields - HIRF);
lightning protection; protection of personnel from electromagnetic radiation (Radiation Hazards);
protection from nuclearelectromagnetic pulse (N-EMP);
Electrostatic Discharge(ESD), limitation of unintentional electromagnetic emanations (TEMPEST).* Writing analysis documents for flight permits and E3 certification and discussing with Military Authority Certification Bodies.* Participating in program reviews and preparing supporting material.**Educational Qualification:**Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering**Required Experience Level:**Expert**Technical Skills:*** Knowledge of E3 issues at both equipment and aircraft level* Knowledge of applicable standards MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-461, RTCA/DO-160 or similar* Knowledge of aircraft on-board systems**NICE TO HAVE:*** Knowledge of numerical electromagnetic simulation software**Behavioral Skills:*** Ability to work in a team* Ability to relate to different cultures* Communication and relationship skills with clients and suppliers* Organizational and coordination skills* Planning skills* Problem solving and results orientation* Curiosity and aptitude for learning**Language Skills:*** Excellent knowledge (level B2 or higher) of written and spoken English**Computer Skills:*** Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Project**Other:**The ideal candidate is available to carry out work activities both at the headquarters and possibly, after adequate on-the-job training, on secondment at a Partner Company located in the UK.
