Centrifugal Compressor Field Service Engineer (M/F/D)

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and maintenance activities on site with customers, ensuring safe and compliant work.
• Lead activities, people and HSE compliance to a high standard.
• Safely accomplish the installation, maintenance and repair of centrifugal compressors, including minor or major inspection, rebundles, upgrades and other maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment.
• Experience in a mechanical role within an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar).
• Customer‑service orientation and experience leading customers through tough decisions.
• Skill in communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying technical levels.
• Deep awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks.
• Motivated self‑starter who can make key decisions and innovate solutions.
• Excellent command of verbal and written English.
• EU passport/European work permit and ability to speak Italian.
• Ready to travel significantly (up to 70%) without geographic restriction, including offshore facilities.

Compensation

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 35,200 to 57,200. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will apply, with Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relating to pay.
