Junior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

📍 Florence, Italy (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

We’re looking for a Junior Information Systems Security Officer to support the Cybersecurity & IT Infrastructure team of an international company based in Florence.

This role is ideal for someone early in their cybersecurity career who wants hands-on experience in security monitoring, incident investigation, vulnerability management, and enterprise security operations.

• Security monitoring and log analysis
• Investigating security incidents
• Supporting vulnerability assessments and remediation
• Managing PKI infrastructure and X509 certificates
• Security documentation
• Collaboration with SOC providers and internal IT teams

Over time, you’ll also support EDR/NDR/PAM tools, IAM controls, threat hunting, and broader cybersecurity initiatives.

• Degree or diploma in Cybersecurity / Computer Science
• Basic knowledge of security principles and networking
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, TLS, EDR
• Basic scripting (Python or PowerShell)

Nice to have: MITRE ATT&CK or NIST framework knowledge
