Junior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

Overview📍 Florence, Italy (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)We’re looking for a Junior Information Systems Security Officer to support the Cybersecurity & IT Infrastructure team of an international company based in Florence.This role is ideal for someone early in their cybersecurity career who wants hands-on experience in security monitoring, incident investigation, vulnerability management, and enterprise security operations.ResponsibilitiesSecurity monitoring and log analysisInvestigating security incidentsSupporting vulnerability assessments and remediationManaging PKI infrastructure and X509 certificatesSecurity documentationCollaboration with SOC providers and internal IT teamsOver time, you’ll also support EDR/NDR/PAM tools, IAM controls, threat hunting, and broader cybersecurity initiatives.QualificationsDegree or diploma in Cybersecurity / Computer ScienceBasic knowledge of security principles and networkingFamiliarity with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, TLS, EDRBasic scripting (Python or PowerShell)Nice to have: MITRE ATT&CK or NIST framework knowledge1 year freelance project through Shakers #J-18808-Ljbffr
