In this role you drive governance and operational excellence for bonded warehouse and customs operations. You will coordinate with internal teams, a bonded warehouse operator and a customs broker to ensure compliant, efficient inbound and outbound flows. You’ll monitor performance, lead audits and continuous improvements, and support regulatory interactions. Act as primary liaison between business, bonded warehouse operator, customs broker, and internal stakeholders
Oversee inbound/outbound bonded warehouse operations ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
Monitor broker/provider performance via KPIs, governance meetings, and service reviews
Govern bonded warehouse processes including customs accounting, inventory reconciliation, compliance, monthly/quarterly reporting
Establish internal control framework to ensure compliant operations
Perform reconciliations between customs records, warehouse inventory, and ERP transactions to identify risks
Coordinate corrective actions and continuous improvement from audits and inspections
Manage customs broker billing verification and alignment with contracted services
Support customs audits/inspections with documentation and process expertise
Partner with Logistics, Customs and Trade Compliance teams for governance of duties, regimes, and obligations
Drive process standardization, transparency, and cross-functional communication
Responsabilità
Bachelor Degree
Solid experience in customs operations, bonded warehouses, special regimes, and import/export processes
Operational knowledge of warehouse transactions, inventory management, customs flows, and process optimization
Strong analytical skills to assess compliance risks, perform reconciliations, and implement corrective actions
Experience in governance, auditing or compliance monitoring in logistics, customs or supply chain
Ability to design and manage control frameworks, dashboards, and compliance monitoring
Strong problem-solving abilities for complex operational and regulatory issues
Excellent communication and stakeholder management to influence internal teams, brokers, and providers
Comfort working across Logistics, Trade Compliance, Controllership and Operations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Oracle EBS and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred
Fluent in English and able to operate in a global, cross-functional environment
