Overview

The Buyer Assistant will be part of the Procurement Department reporting to the Indirect Materials Manager and he/she will be responsible to support buyers in the procurement process.

The Buyer Assistant will be part of the Procurement Department reporting to the Indirect Materials Manager and he/she will be responsible to support buyers in the procurement process.

Main Activities & Responsibilities

  • Order management using the E-Procurement system
  • Administrative support
  • Perform tenders and conduct simple negotiations
  • Assist buyers throuhout tendering and bidding processes
  • Support buyers in suppliers scouting and evaluation activities

Job Requirements

  • Education: University Degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance or equivalent
  • Fluency in English and Italian
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Marketing & Communication is preferred
