This role oversees the daily P&C operations while supporting the Director of People & Culture in shaping and executing strategic initiatives focused on employee experience and engagement. The Assistant Director of P&C will deliver comprehensive HR support, collaborating closely with department leaders to address functional needs and drive people‑focused solutions. The overarching objective is to position the property as an employer of choice within its destination.What you will doPeople Management
Cultural Advocate of the Golden Rule in every employee actionLeads efforts to ensure today’s and tomorrow’s talent through commitment to proactive recruitment strategies, performance management and career development processes and discussions, in their hotelAct as an objective 3rd party in employee counselling, problem solving or conflict situation and communicate to Director of People & Culture any circumstances that may raise legal issues for the hotelChampions Top Talent. Actively supports succession planning for Top Talent managers. This would include, but not be limited to development plan, job enrichment, and task forces opportunitiesSupporting the Hotel as a Business Partner and guiding colleagues on P&C business partner essentials including but not limited to discipline, benefits, core and culture standardsDrives communication by hosting regular departmental meetings as necessary to support communication needs in their hotelFosters relationships with others as a coach, provides advice and suggestions that lead others to act in new and more productive ways
Key Product Drivers
Supports and drives company P&C initiatives to ensure successful implantation and complianceActively supports recruitment, selection, onboarding and development requirementsDrives Standards Achievement as a champion for standards achievement through training, testing, campaigns, and initiatives in their hotelAble to create, forecast, build and execute plans, budgets and policies and is able to drive change proactivelySupervise all employee recreation programs, the full life cycle of the employee experience and employee communicationsCompletes other tasks/projects as assigned by the Director of People & Culture
Financial Management
Works to ensure that all P&C programs, initiatives, including learning resources are delivered under all budgetary circumstancesEvaluates and analyzes the effectiveness of P&C programs/initiatives for their added value and/or return on investment in their hotelWorks to improve labor costs and productivity results in line with Four Seasons business objectives and strategies in their hotel and shares best practicesSupports the DP&C in analyzing compensation and benefits trends and make recommendations to address the balance between cost of compensation and benefits and the employee experience, when appropriateAble to assist with audits, market studies and trends for all compensation issues in their hotel
What you bring
Minimum 3 years in a related position with Four Seasons or other organization. Experience in luxury hospitality is preferredDemonstrated ability to build trust and foster an open, inclusive work environmentProven capability to empower teams and encourage ownership and accountabilityStrong communication skills, with a commitment to transparency and regular, honest dialogueCommitment to continuous development, both personally and for team membersTrack record of delivering high‑quality, best‑in‑class resultsAbility to innovate, embrace change, and adapt to evolving business needsStrong sense of ethics, consistently doing what is rightWorking knowledge of Italian Labour Laws preferredComputer proficiency including Workday and Microsoft OfficeFluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
