Overview
In this role you will manage and consolidate a portfolio of key maritime customers, building lasting relationships and aligning their needs with our strategic offerings. You will support international agents and distributors, collaborating with the Sales team to execute strategies. You will identify new business opportunities and emerging markets in the reference area, while ensuring smooth order, delivery, and operational processes. You will prepare sales analyses and forecasts to inform planning and performance. This position offers exposure to international markets within a global Italian company focused on innovation and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and consolidate assigned customer portfolio and build long-term relationships
Support and coordinate international agents and distributors with the in-house Sales team
Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets in the reference area
Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service to ensure effective order, delivery, and operations
Prepare sales reports, performance analysis and trade forecasts
Qualifications
Bachelor in Naval Engineering or related engineering field
Experience in business roles in the relevant industry with responsibility for business development and managing key customers
Ability to manage relationships with shipowners, shipyards or similar industrial customers
In-depth knowledge of international maritime markets and B2B trade dynamics
Experience negotiating and closing contracts of relevant value
Familiarity with CRM tools, Microsoft Office and commercial reporting
Budget management and sales forecasting skills
Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
Fluent English, written and spoken
Availability for frequent international travel and client meetings
