Position Overview
Dispatches Truck Drivers (CDL and Non‑CDL) for the safe conveyance of materials for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Responds to emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
Hourly Pay : $22.00.
Location : 515 N 51st Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85043.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Records and maintains files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information.
Coordinates and effectively communicates with various GCNA divisions.
Ensures compliance with all safety rules and appropriate safety equipment use.
Immediately takes action and/or reports any unsafe or potential hazards.
Orders supplies and equipment, and issues them to team members.
Maintains day‑to‑day operations of the transportation department to meet team member and customer needs.
Reads and responds to emails from stores, providing excellent customer service.
Dispatches drivers in a safe and efficient manner.
Determines types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications.
Communicates power equipment defects to the fleet services team.
Provides feedback to transportation leaders on day‑to‑day operations to maintain and improve business and resolve problems.
Maintains regular and consistent in‑person attendance.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
One year of customer service or dispatch experience required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Outstanding organizational and time‑management skills.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for this position.
