Food Safety Product Compliance Intern

We are Lavazza HR Talent Acquisition Team and we’re looking for a Food Safety Product Compliance Intern to join our Food Safety team at our Innovation Center in Turin.

The selected candidate, in collaboration with the tutor, will support our product development process. Working under the guidance of the Food Safety team and in close collaboration with Regulatory, R&D, and Supplier Quality, the intern will contribute to our Food Safety Deliverables while developing hands‑on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the monitoring of food safety deliverables throughout development stages.
  • Assist in defining ingredient specifications and process parameters for new products.
  • Help identify applicable legal requirements and internal Food Safety Targets.
  • Draft and maintain the analytical Food Safety Control Plan.
  • Contribute to documentation and data handling, supporting interactions with external labs.
  • Self‑review and report progress in mandatory compliance documentation.

Requirements

  • Available for a six‑month internship with full‑time commitment, starting September 2026.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Safety Technology, or Legal Studies with emphasis on food law or regulatory compliance.
  • Good Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong knowledge of principal food contaminants and regulatory requirements.
  • Flexible way of working.
  • Experience working in an international context.
