CNC 5‑Axis Machinist – Long‑Term Contract – Italy

We are pleased to offer a long‑term contract opportunity for an experienced CNC 5‑axis machinist to support high‑precision manufacturing operations within the composites sector. This role will support a prestigious client based in Modena, Italy.

Role Details

• Location: Modena, Italy
• Position: CNC 5‑Axis Machinist (Siemens / Belotti)
• Industry: Composites (tooling and component manufacturing)
• Contract Type: Long‑term contract
• Shift Pattern: 5 on / 2 off, approximately 45 hours per week
• Start Date: June / July (or later in the year)

Requirements

• Proven experience operating CNC 5‑axis machines
• Experience with Siemens control systems (essential)
• Experience with Belotti machines (highly desirable)
• Strong background working with composite materials and tooling blocks
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM data
• Good understanding of tight tolerances and high‑quality standards
• Right to work in the EU (no sponsorship available)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC 5‑axis machines
• Machine composite materials and tooling blocks to precise specifications
• Interpret technical drawings and machining programs
• Perform adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality of finished components
• Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
