About the Role
As our new General Services in Milan, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of operations within our tech company. Your responsibilities will include managing orders, maintaining office supplies, and promptly responding to employee requests. Also, you will be involved in the planning of company events.
You will coordinate with vendors, control inventory, track expenses, and optimize workspace areas for efficiency. A key aspect of your role will involve effective communication with employees and team members. Soft skills such as availability, communication, flexibility, multitasking, organization, precision, and a good level in English are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities Managing Orders
- Order Processing: Receive, review, and process orders for office supplies, equipment, and services.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and reorder supplies as needed.
- Budget Management: Track expenses related to orders and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
Keeping the Office Stocked
- Supply Management: Ensure essential office supplies are stocked and readily available for employees.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate maintenance and repairs for office equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Workspace Organization: Arrange and manage storage areas to optimize space utilization and accessibility.
Responding to Requests
- Employee Support: Address employee requests for supplies, equipment, or services promptly and efficiently.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve any issues related to orders, stock availability, or service requests in a timely manner.
- Communication: Maintain open communication channels with employees and HR.
- Office presence required at 100%
