Assistant Civil and Structural Engineer – Reference 13934

Location & Contract

Genova, Italy – Permanent, Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project documents.
• Design concrete structures, including bar bending schedule checks.
• Design steel structures, including connection details.
• Review 3D models under the supervision of a senior engineer.
• Prepare input for draftsmen and/or 3D modulators.
• Examine, mark‑up and align documentation and drawings.
• Deliver projects in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

Qualifications

• MSc degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (mandatory).
• Ability to adapt and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with structural design software packages (e.g. STAAD, SAP2000, GT Strudl, IDEA Statica).
• Knowledge of Tekla Structures, Revit and Civil 3D software (preferred).
• Good understanding of the design process and ability to produce calculations.
• Strong written and oral English skills; Italian or other languages a plus.
