A unique opportunity has opened up to join Stryker as a Senior Regional Sales Manager within our Endoscopy division, leading the Sports Medicine business across Northern Italy.

We are looking for a commercially driven, people-focused leader with a strong field presence and a passion for developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced and highly strategic environment.

This role will play a key part in driving business growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and shaping the future of Sports Medicine within one of the most innovative MedTech companies in the world.

https://www.stryker.com/us/en/sports-medicine.html The Role As Senior Regional Sales Manager, you will lead and develop a team across Northern Italy, overseeing both direct resources and indirect sales channels while driving commercial excellence and sustainable growth.

Reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager, you will be responsible for delivering sales performance, developing talent, strengthening strategic customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across the region.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring a strong balance of commercial acumen, coaching capability, strategic thinking, and hands‑on field leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team across Northern Italy

Drive regional business performance against quarterly and annual targets

Build and execute strategic business plans to accelerate growth

Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders within hospitals and healthcare systems

Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision‑makers

Ensure accurate forecasting and sustainable pipeline development

Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams to ensure an excellent customer experience and smooth Order‑to‑Cash processes

Support and guide indirect sales channels and agents within the region

Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions where required

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement

Act as a role model within the wider leadership team through proactive collaboration, mentoring, and best‑practice sharing

Support wider business projects and strategic initiatives at local and European level

Act as delegate for the Business Unit Manager when required

What We Are Looking For We are looking for a strong commercial leader who combines strategic vision with a highly operational and field-oriented mindset.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required

Minimum 10+ years of overall professional experience

Valid driving licence

Preferred Experience

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding commercial targets

Experience within Medical Devices, ideally Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Implants or operating theatre environments

Strong experience managing complex stakeholder environments and long sales cycles

Experience leading through influence, coaching, and people development

Commercial and financial acumen with strong business planning capabilities

Experience working with CRM systems and MS Office tools

Capital Sales experience is considered a plus

Additional Information

Territory coverage: Northern Italy

Primary location: any main city in Northern Italy, Milan preferred

Travel required: approximately 70%

Regular presence in customer sites and operating theatres required
