Job Description
The successful candidate will be supporting the development of the
Ormco
and
Spark Clear Aligner
business activities in Tuscany/Umbria areas in Italy, exploring sales growth opportunities and sales development to our distribution partners as well as cultivating relationships. Develop leads from our distribution channels by creatively finding ways to penetrate the market and generate additional leads (through e.G. tenders). Besides, as a Territory Manager you are highly involved in training your peers and customers.Responsibilities
Visit assigned customers on a regular basis to promote products, relate new product information and receive feedback on the company’s products and servicesResponsible for creating long lasting relationships and realization of revenue growth with tender regions, DMU’s and affiliated orthodontic specialistsMeet monthly, quarterly, an annual sales quotaVisit potential customers to qualify them as sales prospects for the corporationUnderstand and support the corporation’s sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all the corporation’s customersRelate new product ideas and product extensions to marketing management for evaluationFollow corporate policies regarding customer entertainment and customer relationsReview and report complaints received from customers and recommend corrective action to the Region Sales ManagerCollect and report competitive information to Marketing ManagementPrepare periodic reports including:
weekly call reportsweekly expense reportsperiodic general reportsother reports as assigned
Job Requirements
Has a strategic view on business development and is proactively involved in training its peers and its customersDemonstrated ability to relate well with people and work in an unstructured work environmentExperience to operate in an international environmentNative Italian language communication skills and intermediate in English language skills.Previous experience within the Dental/medical devices, life sciences or pharmaceutical industry (preferred)Good computer skills (in Excel and CRM)At least 3 years sales and/or general business experienceCompetencies
