About the Role


Global Inventory Specialist is a key Supply Chain role requiring a high level of expertise in inventory management and supply chain processes.


The position is responsible for optimizing diesel inventory globally to achieve annual Inventory Turns targets and improve working capital performance, through a structured and data-driven approach. Key activities include:

  • Performing site-by-site inventory mapping, analysis, and optimization strategies
  • Developing inventory projections and supporting demand and COGS estimation
  • Reviewing and optimizing SAP parameters (Safety Stock, MOQ, Lead Time)
  • Identifying and improving supplier-related processes and inventory models
  • Driving reduction of Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory
  • Optimizing finished goods and overall inventory portfolio
  • Developing value-added reporting for in-depth inventory analysis
  • Overseeing end-to-end processes impacting inventory and global working capital

The role continuously improves inventory performance through benchmarking, reporting, and project management, introducing innovative solutions and processes to increase inventory turns and ensure stock availability. This is supported by the effective use of advanced Supply Chain tools, digital platforms, and AI-based solutions.

Additionally, the role is responsible for building and maintaining dashboards and reporting systems to monitor activities, track progress, and support data-driven decision-making.



Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize inventory across global sites (analysis, forecasting, mapping)
  • Set and manage SAP parameters (SS, MOQ, Lead Time)
  • Implement stock reduction initiatives (Kanban, VMI, Consignment, JIT)
  • Reduce Excess & Obsolete and improve finished goods portfolio
  • Analyze inventory flows and drive process improvements
  • Develop dashboards and reports (Power BI, Kinaxis)
  • Lead cross-functional and continuous improvement projects



Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or similar
  • 3–5 years in Supply Chain / Inventory roles
  • Strong SAP and BI tools experience
  • Advanced Excel & analytical skills
  • Fluent English (min. B2)

The Compensation Range indicated in this job posting represents an estimated average range for the position.

The final remuneration will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, in accordance with applicable EU pay transparency and pay equity requirements.
